it’s okay to have a bad day.

Lately I have been REALLY struggling with the “daily grind”.  Feel like I am in a never ending loop.  I think that is part of why I get very grumpy and antsy in the fall.  It seems that the closer it gets to my birthday (end of December) that the passing of time is reminding me that I have not accomplished much this year (or last year, etc.).  

I have noticed too that the older I get, the harder on myself I can be.  I am trying to work on that, and the negative mental commentary that I have for myself, and sometimes it helps to hear positive things from someone else.  (See below)
