So, a buddy and I decided that we should do at least a virtual 10K every month to try and stay motivated for the once quarterly (or so) half marathons that our little running group has been doing over the last year or so. I am REALLY struggling! I don’t know WHAT it is about the end of summer- but every year I get very antsy (read: bitchy) and unmotivated, all down-in-the-doldrums…Anyone else have that issue?
I was able to force myself to do the run, and I felt 100% better once I had, I just do NOT get what my DEAL is? Perhaps it is because I will be hitting 40 at the end of the year?
Anyway- time was non-impressive, as I am a slow runner, but I AM A RUNNER! Yes, I know, many can’t run. Like I said DOLDRUMS! Here is my time at 1:17:55.
